Partecipa alla nascita della rete di centri esperti del mesotelioma in Italia (MET.I)

Il contributo dell’Italia alla ricerca sul mesotelioma è ampio con studi originali di centri e ricercatori italiani, l’arruolamento in studi internazionali, l’elaborazione di linee guida nazionali, la capacità di lavorare in rete su singoli progetti, la collaborazione con le associazioni di pazienti.

La creazione di MET.I (MEsothelioma Team Italy),  una rete nazionale di centri esperti nel mesotelioma, è un ulteriore passo avanti: per informare pazienti e chi si occupa di loro (familiari, caregivers, ecc.) e orientarli verso centri clinici di riferimento per la patologia sul territorio nazionale, per unire le idee e le competenze per la ricerca preclinica e clinica, e per potersi porre come il gruppo che rappresenta l’Italia nel contesto internazionale e nell’interazione con le aziende farmaceutiche.

 

MET.I avrà il suo primo congresso venerdì 11 ottobre a Milano, con una sessione specificamente dedicata ai pazienti e familiari nel pomeriggio, alle ore 14-17.30, con il seguente Programma MET.I

    It also aims to promote discussion among multidisciplinary speakers and promote collaboration between patient and physicians internationally.

    Assembled in a virtual space, the webinar offers accessibility to patients worldwide, ensuring that they can participate regardless of geographical location.

    Throughout the event, the agenda is crafted to focus on providing answers to the most common questions faced by patients and caregivers: topics such as misdiagnosis, limited access to care, treatment complexities, emotional distress, lack of support resources,
    financial strain, and long-term survivorship challenges are all addressed.
